1.any other 任何(一个)
①any other＋名词单数形式意为 “(除了某个以外)其他的任何一个” 。eg: Jack is like any other boy of his age.杰克看上去像其他和他同龄的孩子一样。②any常用作限定词，与单数可数名词或不可数名词连用， 用于肯定句， 起强调作用，表示“任一的； 任何的”。
eg: You can come here any day. 你能在任何一天来这里。
③other /'ʌðə(r)/ adj. 另外的，其他的 pron.另外的人(或物) eg: Do you have other questions to ask me?你还有其他的问题要问我吗？

2.miss/mɪs/v. 怀念，思念；错过
①miss作及物动词，意为“怀念；思念”，其第三人称单数形式为misses

②作及物动词，意为“错过”。 He arrived too late and missed the train.他到得太晚，没赶上火车。
③首字母大写，即Miss，意为“小姐，老师”，常用于未婚女性的姓氏前。

3.辨析wish与hope .wish与hope都表示“希望”，二者均可以跟动词不定式，其区别如下：
wish
①wish sb. sth.祝愿某人某事 We wish you a happy New Year.我们祝你新年快乐。
②wish (sb.) to do sth.希望(某人)做某事 I wish you to go.我希望你去。
③wish＋that从句，表示难以实现的愿望
I wish I could fly like a bird.我希望我能像一只鸟一样飞。

①hope to do sth.希望做某事 We hope to see you again.我们希望能再次见到你。
②hope＋that从句，表示可以实现的愿望
